What are hydroxyls, how are they formed and what do they do?
Our company uses hydroxyl radical generators that mimic a natural process that happens outdoors during sunny days. Ultraviolet energy from the Sun cleaves a hydrogen atom from water vapor molecules. The remaining positively charged OH molecule is a hydroxyl radical. The hydroxyl then reacts with abundant volatile organic compounds which creates longer-lived organic oxidants.
